It has done many good things for older Americans, but in some important ways it is just plain wrong -- selfish and guilty of intergenerational injustice

His $4 : $1 ration is a bit dubious. That doesn't recognize that education and child welfare is primarily (in the USA) a function of the states, whereas (to get advantages of massive scale) medicare and ss are functions of the federal government.

And the military has a very much younger population - all on the government dole. Not children, but certainly not seniors


I don't believe I actually disagree with him - but that number doesn't survive analysis.
